BC Canada Hot Springs

Hot Springs Cove is near Tofino on Vancouver Island. It is only accessible by plane or boat. At Hot Springs Cove, 140-degree hot water meets the ocean temp cold water, with numerous pools in between. So you control what temp water you want to soak in.

Take Hwy 95-A to Kimberly, BC, an all year resorts that is close to Hot Mineral Springs. It is a good spot to start your tour of BC hot springs.

North of Kimberly on Hwy 93/95 is Fairmont Hot Springs. Near Fairmont is Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park where the natural hot mineral springs of Lussier are located along the Lussier River. These springs are odorless and assessable all year round. Other activities at this resort include horseback riding, skiing, golf, hiking, biking and a spa.

Just north of Fairmont is Invermere near Windermore Lake and Panorama Mountain Village resort. The resort is open all year round. At the resort, go rafting, hiking, biking, play golf, ski, snowmobile and do other outdoor activities.

Continuing north is Radium Hot Springs in Kootenay National Park. These natural hot springs are in the Sinclair Canyon. The view from the springs is beautiful.

North of Radium Hot Springs along Hwy 95 is Golden, which is situated on the Columbia River. This area is wetlands and offers ample opportunities for outdoor fun.

Between Golden and Revelstoke is Rogers Pass which is near Canyon Hot Springs.

South of Revelstoke is Halcyon Hot Springs on Hwy 23 which is also near Nakusp hot springs. There is a lodge, a spa and plenty of outdoor adventure here.

Continuing south of Halcyon, take Hwy 31 to Ainsworth hot springs. Here, view Kootenay Lake from the main pool or retreat to the pool inside the cave.

In northern BC, soak in Liard River Hot Springs, Canada’s 2nd largest hot springs.
