Drive the Alaska Highway near Dawson. Soak in the mineral waters of Liard River Hot Springs.
At Salmon Glacier near Stewart, See Grizzlies and Black Bears catch salmon on their annual spawning journey. Stewart is located close to the BC Alaska Border.
At Smithers, see the rapids at Moricetown Canyon and Twin Falls.

From Prince Rupert, take a boat tour to the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary. The home of the rare Kermode bear (Spirit Bear) is near Terrace. This bear is only found in BC.
Take a cruise, sail or kayak to whale watch in the Queen Charlotte Islands. In summer, from August – October, see the Orcas and Humpback whales. Boat tours or kayak tours are available at Prince Rupert.
Marvel at the beauty of Glacier fed lakes in Babine Mountains Provincial Park near Smithers. This park is known as one of BC’s best hiking areas. As you hike, see mountain goats, marmots, and moose.
Kinuseo Falls are higher than Niagara and in Monkman Provincial Park.
From August to April, see the BC Northern Lights also known as the Aurora Borealis.
